This trek, in the region of the highest summits of the world, is extraordinary and is a classic of Nepal. The landscapes are superb, amazing. There are panoramic view points on each Khumbu peak. Typical Sherpa's (ethnic group) villages. This trek requires a good physical condition and a good walking experience.

                                           
    Programme of trek

 Day 01 : Katmandu - Luckla (flight in the morning) 3 hours of walk, walk to  Phakding (2 800m)

 Day 02 : Phakding (2 800) – Namche (3 450) 6 h. Namche, big village, is the capital  of  Sherpas country

 Day 03 : Namche : Rest and acclimatization day. Walk around and Namche visit.

 Day 04 : Namche (3 450) - Phortse (3 700) 4 h. Bountiful view.

 Day 05 : Phortse (3 500) -Dole (4 040) 4 h. Bountiful forets and waterfalls.

 Day 06 : Dole (4 040) – Macchermo (4 410m) 4 hours walking, Very beautiful view.

 Day 07 : Macchermo (4 410) – Gokyo (4 750m) 5 hours Ascent to Gokyo's lake

 Day 08 : Gokyo (4 750) - Gokyo Ri (5 360) : 2h30 climb to Gokyo Ri, about 5 km.  The slope is Steep and long, the 360° view is incredible. From this peak, we can  see of the Fourteen 8 000 m high peaks of the Himalaya chain : Everest (8,848),  Lotshe  (8 ,516), Makalu (8 ,463) a magnifient pyramide, and Cho Oyu (8,201).

 Day 09 : Gokyo (4750) - Phortse (3700) About 6 h.

 Day 10 : Phortse (3 700) - Dingboche (4400)6 h. Via the beautiful Pangboche  monastery.

 Day 11 : Dingboche (4 400) - Lobuche (4930)5 hours of walk Superb high  mountain land Scapes and Moraines.


 Day 12 : Lobuche (4 930) - Gorak Shep (5150)3 hours of walk. Climb up Magnifient  High Mountain view.

 Day 13 : Gorak shep (5 150) - Kalapathar (5 550) - Pheriche (4 250) : 7 hours of  walk.climb  Kalapatha (6 km, 3h). View on many 7 000 and 8 000 m high summits :  Ama Dablam (6 812), Pumori (7 161), Nuptse (7 879), Lhotse (8 516) and Everest  (8  848) in front. Descent to Lobuche then Pheriche (4h)


 Day 14 : Pheriche (4 250) - Tengpoche (3 860m) 4-5hours of walk Descent to the  famous 
highest monastery in Nepal, in Sherpa's country, and in front of Ama  Dablam Chain.

 Day 15 : Tengpoche (3 860) - Namche (3 450) : 5 hours of walk.

 Day 16 : Namche (3 450) - Luckla (2 800) : 6 hours of walk Last trekking day.

 Day 17 : Luckla (2 800) - Kathmandu (flight late in the morning, 30m).
